Mark Pordes’ career spans more than three decades and holds brokerage licenses in Florida and Nevada as well as a series 22 securities license. working independently, and with some of South Florida’s largest and most prominent developers and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. During that time, Mark honed skill sets needed to create a highly successful luxury real estate company Pordes Residential that oversees the sales and marketing of high-end residential projects in the U.S. and abroad. His drive, vision, and longevity of experience provided the foundation to build the infrastructure of the best professionals in the sales and marketing luxury residential industry who successfully sold and reposition assets throughout South Florida’s tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach as well as Las Vegas and the Caribbean in excess of $3B of residential units in some of the most prominent properties.
Prior to forming his own company at the end of 2009, Pordes managed sales projects for some of South Florida’s largest residential developers. Those include Turnberry Residential, where Mark was VP of Sales for Residential Development for 10 years, managing, overseeing and selling out more than 4,500 units. The projects included: Porta Vitta Aventura, Turnberry on the Green, Turnberry Village North & South Towers Aventura, Oceania Tower 5 Sunny Isles Beach, the Tressor and Sorrento condo hotel towers at the world renown Fountainebleau Miami Beach, the Residences at Atlantis Nassau Bahamas, and The Residences at MGM Las Vegas Nevada.
Since 2009, Mark Pordes has brokered some of the largest luxury condominium bulk sales in South Florida such as The Ritz Carlton in Singer Island $140M to LionHeart Capital, Trump Hollywood $161M to BH3 Group and Nobe Bay in Miami Beach to 13th Floor Group for $38M. Notably, he brokered a $220M transaction in 2014 for the entire resort that consisted of 150 unsold condo hotel units and the hotel tower at the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel & Residences to Related New York. Additionally he brokered the remaining inventory at Echo Aventura to a private equity group from Long Island, New York, a $15M bulk transaction.
In 2010 he worked on prominent projects including Schooner Bay, a master planned community in the Abaco Bahamas, as well as Old Fort Bay, a waterfront gated community in Nassau Bahamas.
